So as I mentioned earlier, I got a job at Hollister! I had my first day yesterday, which was okay. A little awkward, long, and I had no idea what I was doing. Because I had a closing shift, I got home super late and barely had time to do homework.

Got to school early this morning because I had to host FML, or Friday Morning Liturgy (mass) at school. During my free period, I finished whatever homework I didn’t do last night, then made a run to Starbucks because I was pretty much sleeping with my eyes open.

After school, I sprinted out to go shopping for some work (Hollister) clothes (~5 min, literally in and out), then buzzed off to an interview at Build-a-Bear. I think I rocked the interview, but I had to leave a little early in order to make it to Hollister to start my shift on time. At Hollister, I worked from 5-9:30.

I’m exhausted, but it’s fun and rewarding (:

Went to TKB today! I tried to come in a little earlier to do some weights to tone my legs up a little bit (tried on some shorts in Hollister, my legs gave me a rude awakening/reminder that they’re not ready for shorts), but the gym was so crowded! And there was this super snooty guy not letting anyone near 15-20 feet of him. Sorry babe, but if the gym is this crowded and you’re at 24Hour, you can’t be a diva. Share the space.

Anywho, when I finally got to TKB it was so fun! Almost killed me, but super fun. I hadn’t taken Doris’ class since the beginning of January.

Also, Cat just posted info about her next Autism Fundraiser on Facebook. It’s a 4 hour fitness marathon! :O Hip Hop Hustle, UJam, Zumba, and CrossFit training called Whipped. When I think fitness marathon, I think Sarah would love that. (;

And Senior Prom is in like May. Girls already started a Facebook page for dresses. This got other girls annoyed. Girls got into cat fights on Facebook. Now boys are making fun of said girls by making their own “Senior Tuxedo Page,” and trying to be catty.

It’s January and Proma has already begun.

This is why I highly dislike my class. This is why I can’t wait till college. This is why I struggled with deciding between a Zumbathon and going to prom last year. This year, Zumbathon for sure.

I’m officially a Hollister employee!

You are now reading the blog posts of a Hollister “Model” (sales associate, really). It’s pretty much my first real, paid, not-working-for-my-dad, job.

And I am so surprised with how well I was able to portray myself as “Hollister material,” because for those of you that have seen my style blog, my style isn’t exactly Hollister.

But yay. I’m so excited! :D

If you guys know me well enough, you know that I LOVE blogging and I love social media. In addition to this blog, I have my very own style/fashion blog, twitter and instagram accounts, and now, I have one more blog as a school assignment.

I’m taking AP Government at my school, and throughout the semester, we must write a blog, discussing opinions on various policies, issues, as well as current events. I’m actually having a lot of fun with it because I want to be a journalist, so with this blog, I am constantly reporting news, specifically government policies.

However, because I’m Francesca and Francesca likes to keep things interesting, we had to choose an issue to cover and incorporate throughout the semester, and I chose entertainment (Hollywood).

Feel free to go check it out! Please be careful with comments though as it is my professional school blog — nothing inappropriate please!

seeing that smile on your best friend’s face on her birthday, and being able to spend the entire day with her.

My best friend since middle school just turned 18 today, so I went all out and spoiled her with all the birthday goodies, from balloons to cupcakes and everything in between.

Yesterday (1 PM-5PM) : Took her shopping at this really nice mall, surprised her by paying for her clothes from Urban Outfitters. Happy Birthday! Here’s your present (: Also treated her to a Starbucks Frappuchino and Sprinkles cupcake.

Last Night (6 PM- 8PM) : Circled around the Peninsula for two hours looking for balloons. Apparently there’s a helium shortage? Couldn’t find balloon. Bought a balloon on a stick, then recycled a balloon from my birthday, re-inflated it with normal air, and stuck it on the stick, with intent of getting her real balloons when I find helium.

Last Night (8:30-10PM) : Baked her red velvet cupcakes (from scratch), swirled the cream cheese frosting in a way to make it look like whipped cream. Stuck pieces of green Starbucks straws in the cupcakes to make them look like Frappuchinos (her favorite). Also made her locker wrapping.

This Morning: (6:40AM) : Drove to her house before going to school, covered her car in sticky notes that said “Happy Birthday” and “Eighteen.” Signed it, -A (PLL fans will get this).

This Morning: (7:40AM) : Got to school, decorated her locker, almost screwed up decorating her locker, had one of her friends fix it. Waited for her to get to school.

This Morning: (8:10AM) : She finally gets to school and is in the counseling center. I peek in to see if she’s there, and she is. So I run full speed into the counseling center to tackle her…only my counselor, whose office is right by the entrance to the center, runs out of her office, and we almost collide. While I’m holding cupcakes. Oops, crisis averted. I give Jessica her cupcakes, card, and wimpy balloon. She starts laughing about the balloon situation, then gets this huge smile on her face when she sees the cupcakes and card.

This afternoon (5PM) : I got home around 1, fell asleep till 4:30, then went to Diddam’s, a party store, to get balloons. I got her four balloons: Two purple stars, a giant candle, and an “It’s a Girl!” balloon. I bring them to her house and decide to stay for dinner.

This evening: (6-9PM) : I stay for dinner at her house with her family, then her cousin comes by and we went out to get Tpumps, this bubble tea drink.

Little things like seeing the smile on her face and spending the whole day with people I care about. And showing them how much I care about them. Means the world to me.

Never, ever again. (:

Just submitted my very last college application.

I’m done. And now, can officially be a second semester senior with full on senioritis.

Life is good.

Another reason senior year rocks (now that it’s second semester)

WE WON THE BRUCE! What’s the Bruce? It’s a rivalry (biggest/oldest one west of the Mississippi) between my high school and another high school in San Francisco which consists of three games: football, basketball, and baseball.

We lost the trophy last year, but this year we won the football game, and won basketball last night! It was such a close game, so I’ll give props to the other team for playing hard.

The celebration was amazing though. The minute the clock hit zero, we all rushed to the barrier (didn’t break it this time!) to call our team for a fight song. Everyone was cheering, hugging, and screaming. It was such a great sight; I and a couple seniors even started tearing up!

Such a joyous moment. Such a great game. Another moment of high school I will never forget.

So. much. fun.

I really like it there and I loved the school, so it was definitely a successful trip. (: We’ll see if I’m back there in the fall!

So now, it’s back to reality. I wouldn’t be surprised if I gained at least 5 pounds between my birthday, the holidays, and vacation. But it’s nothing I can’t lose back. Just time to crack the whip and work hard again!

First thing on the menu: egg white omelet with bell peppers and kale… Yum? kinda (if I made it, I would’ve skipped the kale in the omelet and just juice it with some apples).

Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t posted in awhile, but Happy New Year! I’m in Chicago right now looking at one of my potential colleges, and so far I like it here!

In the land of deep dish pizzas, steakhouses, and hot dogs, I haven’t exactly been following my fitblr policies…but I’ll be back to business on Saturday! But for now, living the CHI life. (:
